Blue moon mug made of white stoneware clay and glazed in a dark blue celadon. The texture on the outside of this mug has been sculpted with craters to look like the surface of the moon, then stained black to show through the blue glaze. The inside of the mug and organic handle has been glazed in a soft matte black.
This moon mug is apart of a new series of celestial objects I am exploring.
